Osteopathy is a holistic form of medicine that focuses on diagnosis and manual treatment of functional disorders.

Craniosacral therapy (from the Latin “cranium” = skull, and “sacrum” = part of pelvis) is a manual procedure in which the therapist senses the rhythmic movement of the cerebrospinal fluid, primarily around the patient’s skull and sacrum and uses that as the basis for treatment.

Both are gentle forms of therapy which focus on anatomical structures and can be a very effective healing method in the case of chronic or acute conditions.

Manual Medicine is a treatment method in which functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system can be alleviated by using special hand movements. It relieves pain and improves the patient’s general health. Manual Medicine is frequently used successfully in cases of back, joint and muscle discomfort.

Dr Marion Grögli’s systemic health and diet diagnosis is an assessment of the individual based on holistic medicine that looks at their health, fitness and diet, and includes their lifestyle (job, family, exercise) and mental state.

The concept is intended to help people to achieve their personal objectives, in the light of the medical facts, by showing them how to provide their body with the best possible energy supply through a needs-based diet, training and regeneration, with a view to leading a life that is kinder to their body.

We offer the following systemic health and diet diagnosis services:

You exercise – but you don’t know how fit you really are? Would you like to find out whether your training is effective and targeted? Or would you like to start a training regime for the first time? We carry out sport-specific tests to assess your performance, level of fitness and personal progress. On the basis of specific reference values and requirement profiles, and your personal test results, we can define clear and individualised training recommendations and targets for your personal development. To guarantee that the tests are accurate and reproducible, we use standardised test procedures and state-of-the-art technologies. Your results will be written up and discussed with medical experts.

Body composition analysis

Your body composition can be measured using the calliper skin fold test or bioimpedance. This measurement gives you an overview of the composition of your body mass.

Endurance performance diagnosis

These tests use various parameters to accurately assess your performance in terms of endurance. This process identifies areas for improvement, strengths and weaknesses so that your training can be targeted and optimised.

Our range of tests includes:

  • Conconi Test including definition of training zones on a cycle ergometer or treadmill
  • Lactate threshold test including definition of training zones on a cycle ergometer or treadmill
  • Spiroergometry, focusing on measuring maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) and defining training zones on a cycle ergometer or treadmill
  • Spiroergometry incl. lactate measurement, focusing on defining training zones and measuring maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) on a cycle ergometer or treadmill
  • Capacity testing (power profiling)

Strength diagnosis

Various devices are used to accurately assess your performance in terms of strength. Maximum strength and endurance for all the main joints can be measured using isokinetic testing or a force plate. The different components of explosive strength can be measured in vertical jump tests. We can also measure your basic lower-body strength here. The results can be helpful for monitoring performance in sport and also for injury prevention or for rehabilitation after injury.

Our range of tests includes:

  • Isokinetic strength test
    • Knee
    • Shoulder
    • Trunk
    • Foot
    • Elbow
  • Vertical jump strength testing
    • Squat jump
    • Countermovement jump
    • Drop jump
  • Muscular performance diagnostics/maximum strength testing using barbells and force plate
  • Core strength test, trunk (Magglingen lower-body strength test)

Coordination diagnosis

We use a proprioceptive testing and training system (ProKin) to measure stability and balance parameters with great accuracy so that they can be embedded in the monitoring of your training.

Our range of tests includes:

  • Stability and balance testing on ProKin (also specifically for skiing and cross-country skiing)
