Day care rehabilitation

Day care rehabilitation offers intensive outpatient rehabilitation. It is aimed at patients with musculoskeletal or neurological problems. The main objective is generally occupational reintegration, so the rehabilitation programme is aimed specifically at restoring the skills required in day-to-day working life with a view to successfully reintegrating the patient into their occupation. Patients benefit particularly from work-related strength-building and simulation exercises and a clarification of their professional prospects.

The following activities feature prominently in work-oriented treatment programmes:

  • Evaluation of current resilience with regard to previous work or a new occupational activity
  • Medical and work-oriented exercise therapy
  • Work simulation training inside and outside
  • Physiotherapy and occupational therapy
  • Occupational advice and clarification of professional prospects
  • Water therapy and various group treatments

It is also possible to carry out a functional capacity evaluation (FCE) during day care rehabilitation (additional costs in accordance with the price list).

We are happy to meet any other specific requirements and have a wide range of treatment options available at the clinic. This means it is also possible to prioritise the acquisition of skills for everyday life by combining the required knowledge and expertise from various areas of treatment.

Rehabilitation normally takes place all day, five days a week and usually lasts for 20 days. The treatment programmes are customised and include an assessment of the patient's fitness for work.

Rooms are available for patients to stay overnight. This enables patients who cannot travel to the clinic every day to take advantage of our extensive outpatient rehabilitation services.
