Training for fitness and resilience

Our training for fitness and resilience enables clients to steadily build up their health and performance by working in a group or at individual workstations. The fitness training is not a medical requirement. Nevertheless, this training is regarded as an important element in the transition from therapy to work and is provided by experienced ergotherapists who are accustomed to working one-to-one to support people with complex health impairments, preparing them to take their first steps into the labour market.

Assessment of potential

The objectives of the four-week assessment of potential are to evaluate (residual) capacity for work, assess a client's potential and resources, build up a useful level of productivity and spend time working in pre-defined occupational areas at the Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic. During the assessment of potential, clients will work on either gardening/cooking or in the Polydesign 3D workshop. Both standardised and customised tasks are set in order to assess technical, methodological and social skills and self-competence, with standard test procedures being used where applicable. The support staff provide individual coaching, set the occupational review process in motion and write a report on the outcome of the measures taken.
