Amputated limbs and supply of prostheses

Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic is known for its expertise in providing prostheses and other aids. We provide people who have lost limbs with prosthetic solutions that have been tailored to their individual needs and teach them how to use them.

An experienced team of doctors, orthopaedic technicians, orthopaedic shoe technicians, rehabilitation technicians, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, nurses, wound specialists, social workers, psychologists and experts in occupational reintegration make up the close-knit team tasked with taking care of you.

The prostheses are adapted to the stump and adjusted so that they fit perfectly and can be used to best effect. The aim is to enable patients to lead a normal life again as far as possible. In addition to fitting the prosthesis itself, intensive training with the physiotherapists or occupational therapists is required. This includes gait training or learning how to use a prosthetic arm. The staff in the medical training centre work specifically on endurance and building strength.
