Joining our team

From fresh-faced students through to fully-qualified doctors – Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic is open to anyone who is interested, wherever they are in their career. We offer a variety of opportunities to cater to this diversity.

Those studying human medicine must complete a four-week nursing placement in order to continue to the second year of their degree. We help you to save precious time, as Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic lets you do your placement before you have even begun your degree, allowing you to spend your summer holidays doing something else. Of course, you can complete your placement during the summer holidays too if you’d prefer.

Interested? Then simply e-mail bewerbung@rehabellikon.ch to apply.

As a training clinic, we are committed to developing prospective doctors – e.g. with our placements for junior medical assistants. Here, under the supervision of the doctor in charge, you will be tasked with duties such as taking patients’ medical histories, performing examinations and preparing confirmations of cost reimbursement and discharge reports. You will also be actively involved in interdisciplinary rehabilitation visits. Placements are paid and last between one and three months on average.

Would you like further training to become a specialist? We have medical assistant positions in Neurological Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic and Hand Rehabilitation and Work Rehabilitation.

The following qualifications can currently be gained:

  • Orthopaedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system: category C (one year)
  • Physical medicine and rehabilitation category A/musculoskeletal rehabilitation (two years)
  • Physical medicine and rehabilitation category B/neurological rehabilitation (one year)
  • Outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation (one year)
  • Neurology: category D2/neurological rehabilitation (two years)

Our individual specialist areas work closely together. Therefore, becoming a specialist in physical and rehabilitation medicine, for example, can be done almost entirely with us – you only need to do one year of internal medicine at a different institution.

Our medical assistants work 46 hours a week, two of which they spend participating in structured training programmes, with a further two hours reserved for independent study. Medical assistants are allocated six working days per year to attend external specialist training programmes and courses.

Already qualified as a specialist and want to support our team? At Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic, you’ll care for our patients from when they arrive to when they are discharged, including creating the relevant documentation, supervised from time to time by a senior doctor. Your expertise will allow you to be flexible when it comes to providing care on different wards.

As a hospital specialist, you will be an essential member of our multidisciplinary team and work closely together with other doctors, therapists, the psychiatric/psychological service and the rehabilitation manager.

Want to make us even stronger? Then why not apply? Simply e-mail bewerbung@rehabellikon.ch.

Do you have a relevant medical qualification or are in the last year of your training? Perhaps you already have experience in rehabilitation? Do you also want to take on responsibility at Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic? We have a diverse range of exciting challenges for you. Alongside the expert medical management of diagnostic and therapeutic treatment for patients and the management of interdisciplinary visits, you will also have the opportunity to supervise medical assistants and reporting. Whenever necessary, you will provide a direct line to patients and deal with external contacts, for example with claims specialists and case managers from insurance companies.

At the same time, you will be responsible for supervising and teaching medical assistants and hospital specialists, working together with the respective experts. This way you will help our team to develop further, on both a professional and personal level.

Want to contribute your experience and expertise? We look forward to receiving your application at bewerbung@rehabellikon.ch
