Bellikon is located in a quiet, sunny area on the southern slope of the Heitersberg between Baden and Mutschellen in Aargau Canton. Bellikon, with a population of 1500, was mentioned in historical documents as early as 1064.

Its economy is dominated by small and mid-sized companies as well as agricultural operations. Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic is by far the largest company in the town.
