The Quality Control department is responsible for coordination and controlling with regard to the planning and implementation of research projects at the Bellikon Rehabilitation Clinic. It works closely with the Research Committee and Research Advisory Council of the rehabilitation clinic. Functional diagnostics, which is likewise an area of quality control, deals with the reliable and empirical detection and monitoring of functional impairments. Successful in-house developments in this area include the internationally known MediMouse® (movement dysfunctions of the spine) and an especially user-friendly gait analysis instrument ("LokoMus" = measurement of the locomotor muscle activity).
